Human Right Promoters

This programme aims at training young people on the different angles of Human Rights in order to raise awareness towards these issues and to enable them to be promoters within their own peer groups. This programme also involves participants into creating, developing and participating in different existing and new Human Rights programmes.

 As a spin-off of this programme, Centros MEC has also implemented Human Rights workshops at the different prisions around the country. Through these workshops, inmates are able to access different cultural and recreational activities such as film festivals, as well as more ocupationally-oriented workshops (Woodwork, Bakery, and others) which would provide them with tools for applying for a job once their sentence is over.
